I'm a freelance cameraman / lighting camera operator and drone pilot living in Plymouth, working frequently in neighbouring Cornwall, or anywhere worldwide. I have a complete camera kit with FX6, lights, lenses, radio mics for sound operating, and lots of accessories. 10 years + in digital / online corporate and factual broadcast tv.
Familiar with working in foreign countries, and the processes of importing kit through customs. Highlights in broadcast include Sophie Grigson’s Italy for Warner Discovery, several BBC Rick Stein series, Food Network - John Torode's Korean Food Tour, live Football coverage.
Corporate filming brings a whole different skillset, from creating brand films, case studies, recipe or sales videos, gardening tips, to more sensitive subject matters such as trauma and loss and requires great sensitivity. Current client films include the MoD, NHS, MP Campaign content, Princess Yachts.
A solid, reliable team member, and a lot of repeat business which is nice! I encourage a happy, constructive team and help bring fresh exciting ideas to the table. I believe I'm a safe pair of hands who gets on with the job and has a genuine passion to create good content.
I have a good eye for what makes a shot/sequence work, and always try to work with the Director and collaborate, deliver what it is they need, and with enough cutaways to keep the edit happy!
